Many tile contractors may seem to provide a nice install job but due to improper installation techniques or inferior setting materials, tiles will break loose from the substrate, causing cracked grout and hollow sounding tile.
In most floor applications, failure to provide crack suppressant membranes will cause the transferring of cracks in the substrate to transfer up through the tile, which is costly to repair.
Showers if not done properly may cause all kinds of trouble from possible dry rot to molds. We think of your shower as a rain forest that gets around 200 inches of water a year. Our shower tile installations are a complete waterproofed system that will not fail down the road and with epoxy grout, they will never need to be resealed.
